In Influencer Marketing, Social Media Advertising

As we discussed in one of our earlier blogs ad blockers are turning down the heat in the advertising kitchen. Influencers with a combination of social media advertising campaigns, can have an extremely healthy effect on your business sales strategy and brand awareness.

This starts with defining your target personas and then finding influencers within your target industry that represent your brand. Don't be afraid to work with smaller influencers or micro influencers as they are often called. They often will have highly engaged audiences as well as being rather eager to support. When planning campaigns these can often be a great source of reaching your niche markets unlike the high profile and instafamous celebrities who have a wide and varied audiences - not often the consumers or target market you need to reach. Micro influencers tend to have smaller and highly engaged social media audiences and can often be viewed as more trustworthy by consumers and drive better results.

There are all kinds of influencers that can be used and for various campaigns – it’s not all Instagram and sugar doughnuts. An often-overlooked market is business influencers and people who have high profile followings on LinkedIn. One of the reasons we love LinkedIn so much is because of the quality of the profile followers and the demographics of reach can be accessed more authoritatively than say Instagram or Facebook.

As an industry we are only just beginning to realise the true potential of LinkedIn influencer campaigns. These people can often have large amounts of followers and often within the target markets – sometimes in the millions. Using this in a B2B context is probably one of the most obvious ways to approach the platform but often this platform can support a range of different business types predominately for corporate sponsors or partners.

We've developed several successful case studies using influencers across B2B and B2C which you can read on our website or if you are ready to get started with your customer success you can request a plan HERE
